36 HOUR WINDOW FROM HURRICANE ARRIVAL

36 hrs- Listen to Radio/TV to stay with the latest weather updates. Restock your emergency kit, food, and water for at least 3 days worth. Also any medications, flashlights, batteries, cash, and first aid supplies, throw those items in a backpack. Make sure your car is in good working condition. Try to keep the gas tank full. Stock your car with emergency supplies and a change of clothes.

18 hrs- Bring in any lightweight objects that could be possibly become projectiles in high winds. Cover windows with either storm shutters, plywood, or heavy blankets.

6 hrs- Charge cell now to ensure you have a full battery during the storm in case you lose power.

During- Listen to current emergency information instructions. Use generator outdoors ONLY and away from windows if the power goes out. Do not walk, swim, or drive through flood waters.
