It's that time of the year! Weathers gets warmer, and more people use outdoor grills. Just a few safety tips to keep for grilling.

Make sure place your grill is set up on a flat surface, so that it can't be tipped over.

Keep your grill clean. Remove grease into a tray. If you are using a charcoal grill, allow coals to completely cool off before disposing of them.

Wear the right clothing. Make sure your shirt and/or apron strings don't dangle over the grill.

Be ready to put a fire. Keep baking soda on hand to control grease. Have a fire extinguisher nearby. You may also keep a bucket of sand next to the grill. Never use water to put out a grease fire.

Regardless of the type of grill you own, keep your family and home safe during the grilling season.
