PREP YOUR HOME FOR COOLER TEMPS

It's always good to prep your home each season. Cooler temps and weather changes can affect a home. Clean your gutters extensively can help a great deal. if water is unable to flow smoothly, leaks can possibly come through the ceiling and walls. Check all smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure batteries are operational. Have your chimney serviced. Soot or build up can accumulate over time. Check for any new cracks or holes in and outside of your house. Clean any outdoor furniture that may not be cooler temp friendly and store away. Create a family fire escape plan. Put together an emergency preparedness kit, in case of any power outages. Cooler temps arrive, make sure you everything in order so that you and your family can enjoy the Fall and Winter season.
