Why drinking water is a positive: good for brain activitiy, skin, hair, and keeps your body full of energy. Our bodies are 60% water by weight, and proper hydration is absolutely essential for overall health. With increased temperatures and outdoor activities comes incresed water loss, through sweating and evaporation as your body works to stay cool. Water is truly the best choice.

SIMPLE WAYS TO MAINTAIN YOUR POOL

 

Tips on maintaining your pool.

*net any debris off the surface of the pool water

*brush the entire surface to the pool (including the tile areas)

*manually brush any dirt and debris that has not come off the cleaning system

*clean skimmer and pump baskets

*check filter pressure, that should determine if you need to backwash or if more cleaning is necessary

*test levels of chlorine, pH and alkalinity .

Easy tips on painting!

 

Tips on Preperation & Painting like a Pro! 

 

Supplies needed: ladder, wire brushes, paint scrapper, putty knife, wood filler, spackling paste, and roller brush.

Preperation: clean basboards and ceiling corners, apply painters tape, put down drop cloths and paint. Paint doesn't stick very well to dirty walls, so clean them with soap and water and rinse with water once done. Let it dry overnight. Fill any holes with spackle. Sand dry spackle smooth and prime each spot. 

Ready-PAINT!

Change your batteries at lease once a year. If they are Lithium batteries, you may need to test them monthly. Its easy as 1-2-3. Press the test button to be sure the alarm is working. 

Discuss a home escape plan with your family. Walk through your home and look for 2 ways to exit out of every room.
