How to Clean Baseboards

 

3 Simple Steps

 

Vaccum - Use a brush attachment on your vaccum to remove any dust and dirt.

Melamine Sponge - Good choice for scrubbing the access dirt of. You may use warm, soapy water, and vinegar for a cleaning solution. Make sure you wring our the sponge each time. Leave the sponge just damp enough to clean. When done cleaing, use a towel to dry.

Preventive - Rub with dryer sheets all over the baseboards, this will prevent static that attracts the dust.

Spring is around the corner. Time to inspect the gutters, sidewalks, shingles, plants, and flower beds. Here are a few helpful tips on maintance for spring.

 

TIPS:

Gutters: Make sure downspouts drain away from the foundation. Check for leaks. Improper drainage can lead to water damage to basement, or even the crawl space.

Chimney: Examine the exterior for any damage. Make sure you have it inspected and cleaned.

Faucets: Outside faucets can have freeze damage. Check the garden hose also for any on going leaks, or damage. 

Concrete: When weather permits, power-wash and seal the concrete if there are any new cracks that have developed....
